Respiratory Therapist
My Background
Respiratory Therapist in Alberta for 17 years. Have years of experience working in Cardiovascular ICU, Trauma, ICU, Neonatel ICU, Emergency Department, as well as Wards Clinician. Currently I am a Supervisor and Program lead (2 positions combined in one). I am part of a dedicated team that provides respiratory testing and treatment under the direction of Pulmonary Physicians. In collabration, the team explores devices which improve one's oxygenation and ventilation. Breathing becoming easier, giving patients the ability to live life to the fullest.
In my personal life, I am married and have 2 grown children. I also have 3 dogs ( 2 rescued and 1 left by my daughter!). I have enrolled in my first master program class at Athabasca University. Hope to finish a Master's Degree in the next 3 years.
